The English cottage series of articles that I've posted over the past few months is my tribute to the many great features, premium materials used, architectural details and tremendous planning that Bonner Custom Homes put into play to bring all of the components of this beautiful home together.
Here are even more reasons why you need not miss out on some great ideas from a true modern English Tudor classic...
This is the fourth and final 'best of' series of photo posts for the English cottage and I've saved some of my truly favorites for last. What I mean when I say favorites is that the photo is a reminder for me of the 'over and above' quality and thoroughness in which the owners' dedication and a culmination of ideas from European vacation note-taking, custom homebuilding know-how and techniques, books/magazines and personal preferences that made it all come together.

What type of stone is used on the exterior?
Mr Bonner selected the cast limestone fireplaces from Tudor Artisans, a company in Kennesaw, GA that designs and fabricates authentic and historical Tudor architectural components. Find these at www.tudorartisans.com
Rick...
I reviewed some of my photos last night and confirmed that the doors were manufactured by Woodharbor Doors & Cabinetry and the windows were made by Marvin.
Of course, the rondel glass stained windows were handmade by an artisan in the Atlanta area.
Hope that helps you in your quest for quality materials for your new home plans.

Next time I'm out at the house I'll ask Mr. Bonner about the doors and windows.
I'm afraid I cannot accommodate you on the photo request. I have over a thousand and that would be a monster project. You can however go to the top of this page to the MILEMARKERS tab and click on 'English Cottage Series'. You'll find all of my posts listed and each one has numerous photos for your viewing pleasure.
What company did they use for the windows? They are great.
Can you send me all the pics you took...would love to see them
