I’ve learned that decorating your home for Halloween is an ongoing process.

Everywhere I look on the Internet, I see where people have their own Halloween yard and home decorations chronicled on a year-by-year basis — and often cataloged by prop — so that we can see the steady improvements and additions being made.

Tips to decorate the inside of your house in a way that will scare the pants off kids and adults alike when they enter your home for Halloween

People are more than proud to show the world. Who could blame them? It’s a lot of hard work to come up with props that will scare the pants off of kids and adults alike. It takes time to see what works and what doesn’t.

I’ve found an eerily grotesque amount of home-grown Halloween websites with some really cool ideas and a few corny ideas just for fun. All with the main focus of having a good… but scary time.

This is about kids having fun — remember??!!

C’mon, think back. Now it’s your turn to make some memories for your neighborhood children and/or party guests.

A Homemade Haunt From Perfessor Evil

Perfessor Evil and Mistress Evil are California home dwellers that give up an extraordinary amount of time during the course of a year to entertain all who dare visit their nightmare of terror.

They’ve got lots of daytime photos so you get a good view of how the home and yard are decorated, plus some night shots to see how it is intended to look.

When you park a hearse in front of your house year-round, you’re pretty much a dedicated Halloween fanatic.

Here’s the video of the Brewster Yard Haunt and all that it entrails… um… entails.
