Copper rain chains and rain cups have been around for centuries in Japan and now they are making their way to the states. Hard to believe something so simply beautiful and functional has taken this long to be used here in the good ol' U.S. of A. If you want an alternative to the traditional enclosed metal downspout on your gutters then you might want to consider a rain chain. Who knows...you might even lower your blood pressure from the effects of watching rain pout through one in action.

A Renovated Brick Ranch Style Home In My Old Hometown

This post covers a recently renovated 3 BR/1 BA brick ranch style home, circa 1966, in Aiken, SC. My parents have owned it as a rental property and have decided to put it up for sale after a lengthy list of renovation upgrades were completed. Garden Parke Home Review of 'The Keystone' Home Plan

We recently visited Garden Parke subdivision-Lot 21, just outside of Marietta, GA and less than a mile north of The Retreat. Homes start in the $600's and go upwards of $1,000,000+. The home we looked at, The Keystone, was priced at $767,900 and built by LIG Homes. Located at the intersection of Barrett Parkway and Burnt Hickory Rd., the home we visited at Garden Parke was loaded with extras.
